Migration Engineer (Wins 2003) @ MSB
Start ASAP- 3 month contract with possible extension.
Migration Engineer required for Infrastructure Project to roll out Windows 2003 (and Exchange 2003) infrastructure across the organisation (migrate 65 sites worldwide).
Required:
Installation, Relication and Migration experience
Experience in (file, print migrations ideally ) Windows 2000*Windows 2003.
Deisrable-
Exchange 2003
Active directory configuration and management experience
Network and replication topology.
Experience of scripting (logon scripts batch files).
Windows XP and Office 2003 (incl. Outlook 2003).
Server experience: server image creation, server building, server hardening, server qa`ing and promoting servers to dc`s.
Troubleshooting dns, dhcp and wins issues is required.Advantageous skills:
Anti Virus products; MCSE on Windows 2000 or 2003 including Exchange 2000*2003; SMS and File replication experience desirable.
Role includes:
Preparation for migrations, installation and maintenance.
Migrate file and print services from Netware 3, 4 and 5 servers to Windows 2003
Will be reporting to the Technical Manager.
